Bali, eats – Warung Nia

Warung Nia was the very first restaurant we went to when we were in Bali. I was actually looking for another restaurant but ended up here by mistake! However it was on my list anyway so we have decided to eat here.

This place is famous for their pork dishes and you can see that almost every table orders the pork dish. There are various options of mixing the pork with other side dishes or skewers and there’s also a spicy pork option which I opted for. The ribs were messy to eat but fun, though for me it wasn’t very spicy despite the waiting staffs warning. They did have the condiment on the table that allows you to adjust the spicy level, but for me I was still not too spicy. There are other classic options such as the nasi goreng and skewers of chicken, lamb etc so there should be something for everyone. The place does the cooking schools too so if you are looking for some experience, I’d definitely recommend that.
