This is right next to the restaurant previously reviewed. The place is very modern looking inside and feels like a place somewhere within a resort.
The menu is relatively simple with selections of tempeh, sweet corn fritters, and tape cakes for starters and rendang dishes (which they are apparently famous for) and other Indonesian classics like bakso and mie goreng, with options for vegetarians too.
We ordered the set menu that has rendang with soup and some side dishes. I was really looking forward to this rengdan as I was craving it since before I arrived into Indonesia.
Verdict? Whilst it was a good standard rendang, for me it was slightly undercooked (meat wise) so it was very tough and chewy, and the flavour lacked the punch I was looking for. It was a good option to be able to try different dishes in one plate if you want to give a go at different dishes at once. We had the sweetcorn fritters too and we felt it was little too much in terms of the volume so be warned!
